Mail in UIS (legacy email solution)

Mail in UIS was the main and default email solution until 2014. The email address has the format login@node.mendelu.cz. Along with this mailbox, each user also has an email address UID@node.mendelu.cz, where UID is the user's identification number. This mailbox remains available to the user to a limited extent even after the completion of studies or employment for future communication with MENDELU. If you are an active student or employee, we recommend switching to Office 365 email.

If you are an employee or student of the university, you have the option to access your email through the University Information System (recommended)

Due to the fact that this is a legacy solution, complications may arise, especially when connecting via the IMAP protocol (client freezing, slow email download, etc.)
