Overview of Entitlements and Deadlines for Individual Services
Below, in the dropdowns, you will find detailed names of services, a description of who is eligible for them, and the grace period before the service expires if eligibility is lost. If you continue your studies or employment, all your eligible accounts will be automatically extended.
Main PEF Server
- Who is eligible?
PEF: APVA, IZKA, IE2A, APVAX, EBC-MIT
ICV: PS, MTIZ

User Home Directory
An account on this server allows access to the central university domain. It enables login to connected classrooms and the Information Center, and access to user data used upon login to classrooms and IC.

Eduroam and VPM WiFi Network
This service entitles you to use the university’s WiFi network (eduroam) and public access points (VPM).

Main User Server MENDELU
This server allows receiving university emails. Having an account provides an email address login@mendelu.cz

M365 AX Student/Employee License
This is used to assign a license in the Office365 solution. The license with the highest priority that the user is eligible for is always assigned. It also allows the service to be used in a cloud environment.

Permission to Use Proxy for Access to Electronic Information Resources
This service entitles you to use the authenticated proxy at proxy.mendelu.cz. It is primarily used for students and employees to access electronic information resources from locations outside the university.

University Information System
An account on this system ensures, for example, that login credentials remain valid for students on leave.

Authorization for VPN Access as Employee or Student
This service provides authorization for remote login via VPN to the university network at the level of employee or student.
