Storage for Employees and Students and Their Use

Maximum File Size:

Defined as the size of files you can upload, does not indicate the storage space available.

  • Small Files: Small files typically have sizes in the range of kilobytes to a few megabytes. Examples include text documents, presentations, or small images.
  • Medium-sized Files: Medium-sized files typically range from a few megabytes to tens of gigabytes. Examples include videos in standard resolution, extensive documents with images, or large data tables.
  • Large Files: Large files usually have sizes in the range of tens of gigabytes to terabytes. Examples include high-resolution videos, extensive datasets, or disk images.
  • Very Large Files: Very large files represent extremely voluminous data, reaching sizes of terabytes to petabytes. Examples include extensive datasets from scientific experiments, high-resolution video recordings, or genetic sequences.
